Hyderabad: Oragnisers of Indian Ceramics 2016, a leading exhibition for ceramic industry, have conducted a road show in the city on the ceramic materials, machinery and supplies.

The key reason for holding the road show here was the presence of a large number of ceramic and allied companies in the city. According to the organisers, Telangana houses India’s largest number of ceramic pipe manufacturing industries which needed more support from the government.

“The ceramic industry is poised for accelerated growth, due to the booming construction sector. Participating in road shows like these is our attempt to reach out to industry leaders and policy makers,” A R Raju, Chairman, Indian Ceramic Society (ICS), Hyderabad Chapter.

Indian Ceramics 2016 trade fair will be held at Ahmedabad in Gujarat from March 2 this year. Around 250 exhibitors and over 6,000 visitors from India and other parts of the world are expected to participate in the three-day event.

“Indian Ceramics 2016 is the most attractive platform for all the top players of the industry to showcase their products. We have endeavoured to take the event to different parts of the country where we feel the industry would require a fillip and would have the right audience,” said Igor Palka, CEO, MMI India Pvt Ltd, the organiser.
