Air India Engineering Services (AIESL) appointed N Sivanagendra as Station Head and General Manager at Hyderabad. He assumed charge earlier this month. Prior to this, Sivanagendra was associated with AIESL in the capacity of Dy GM (Engineering), Aircraft Maintenance in Hyderabad where he was involved with the operation of the brand new state-of-the-art Maintenance.

Air India Engineering Services (AIESL) appointed N Sivanagendra as Station Head and General Manager at Hyderabad. He assumed charge earlier this month. Prior to this, Sivanagendra was associated with AIESL in the capacity of Dy GM (Engineering), Aircraft Maintenance in Hyderabad where he was involved with the operation of the brand new state-of-the-art Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility in the city.

A seasoned veteran of the airline industry with over 35 years of experience, Sivanagendra is an aeronautical engineering graduate from Aeronautical Society of India with specialization in maintenance stream. He is an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) and licensed on all Airbus family aircraft in accordance with the DGCA mandate. He is among the 1st batch of Indians to be trained on A320 Aircraft in 1991.

N Sivanagendra had joined Indian Airlines in the year 1982 as an AME Trainee at Hyderabad, Southern Region and held several managerial positions at Mumbai and Hyderabad. He was also associated with engineering activities in Western Region, Mumbai. As Station Head and General Manager (Engineering), Hyderabad, he will be responsible for line and major maintenance operations of AIESL in Southern Region and functioning of MRO at Hyderabad.
