Shilpa Shetty's firm to generate employment for Telangana people

Telangana will soon get a new mobile manufacturing unit soon. Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty along with Hindustan Safety Glass Industries (HSGI) is all set to launch a mobile manufacturing unit in Telangana.

Visiting the stall of Telangana in the ongoing Make-in-India programme, multi-sectoral industrial event, Shilpa Shetty and her businessman husband Raj Kundra showed keen interest in establishing a mobile manufacturing unit in the State. They want to name the unit after their son Viaan. The couple started the company last year, releasing five variants of mobile phones.

With this, it is expected that the company would generate employment in Telangana. Over 2,500 international and 8,000 domestic companies are taking part in the Make-in-India programme.
