I got bored of Twitter : Ramu

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, who commands a huge fan base on micro-blogging site Twitter and whose tweets are always a subject of interest for his admirers and detractors, said he is no longer regular on the platform as he got bored of it.
"All of a sudden, I lost interest in it. It was not a conscious decision. However, if some pertinent issue triggers me, expect me to resurface on Twitter," he assures
Speaking to Hans Talkies on wday in Hyderabad during the promotion of his new movie 'Psycho' (which he has written), he dismissed the talk that the film has any relevance to Alfred Hitchcock's cult 'Psycho' which deals with a serial killer. Varma shared that it was a Hyderabad friend who made him to develop 'Psycho' silhouette.
"She told me that she was harassed by a guy who initially approached her as a friend. When I asked her why he was after her, to my shock, she replied that he was a psycho. Taking it as the story base and other recent mishaps where women were assaulted, I developed the story," he said and continued, "Actress Kangna Ranaut's sister was also a victim of acid attack. I was perplexed when Kangna said that that guy who stalked her sister was a simple, bespectacled guy."
Varma was impressed with the way Bengalurian Kishore Bhargav, a rank newcomer in filmmaking, visualised his script. "He said he wanted to capture the mental state of Meera, the protagonist. I liked that idea. He was clear about the technique he wanted to deploy in the flick. I was convinced that he was the right person to take the project forward. Adhikakunda kottavallu baga teestharu (Moreover, newcomers direct their film with utmost care) - I'm the best example," he smiled and added, "His camera angles showcased the state of mind of the characters brilliantly."
Varma also made it clear that it was Kishore's idea of casting Priyanka Kothari in the lead role. "I've always seen her as a glamorous girl whereas he saw her in a diametrically opposite way. It was surprising to see him extracting the kind of performance from her," he opined.
Has he offered any solution for the stalking menace in the flick? "Solutions are two types- general and particular. The first one is difficult, considering each girl's thinking pattern varies from the other. The solution that I've shown in the film is particular, as it happens at the heat of the moment," he replied.
When asked if there are women who are psychos, the flamboyant director rebutted in his usual andaaz. "100 per cent. I will deal with a women psycho in the second part."
While he is awaiting the release of his Hindi and Telugu bilingual 'Satya 2', a crime-thriller, he pointed out that his idea of carrying the 'Sarkar' story forward is very much on. "The third installment will go on floors by the end of the year. My Sarkar (Amitabh Bachchan) will reprise his role of Subhash Nagre. Meanwhile, I may work on another film," he signed off.
