Film Producer Vadde Ramesh Passes Away. Noted Telugu film producer Vadde Ramesh, 66, who had produced movies such as NTR's 'Bobbili Puli' passed away on Thursday.
Hyderabad: Noted Telugu film producer Vadde Ramesh, 66, who had produced movies such as NTR's 'Bobbili Puli' passed away on Thursday. He had been suffering from bone cancer for the last few months, and breathed his last at KIMS Hospital here. He produced blockbusters like 'Katakatala Rudraiah,' ‘Rangoon Rowdy,’ ‘Vishwanadhanayakudu,’ ‘Lankesh- warudu,’ ‘Pellaniki Premalekha Priyuraliki Subhalekha’ and other movies starring top stars in Tollywood. He was a native of Yalamarru in Krishna district.
The producer's son Naveen is an actor. Ramesh's debut production 'Paadavoi Bharateeyuda' was directed by Dasari Narayana Rao. Ramesh introduced Sridevi through this movie.
He also directed 'Amma Koduku' under his own banner called Vijaya Madhavi Pictures. He produced movies in Tamil and Hindi also. Tollywood artistes and technicians condoled his sudden demise.
TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu extended his heart-felt condolences to the bereaved family. He said Ramesh’s death created a void in the film industry.
