Meenakshi to Test her Luck Again, About New Film Adavi Kaachina Vennela. Pooja Ramachandran, best known for her roles in ‘Love failure’ and ‘Swamy Ra Ra’, is playing Arvind’s better half in the film. “The character helped me to break away from ‘Swamy Ra Ra’ image,” she said.
Having sizzled alongside the likes of Mahesh Babu and NTR in films like ‘Dookudu’ and ‘Baadshah’, model-turned- actress Meenakshi Dixit is hoping to revive her fortunes coming to acting. With her recent outing in ‘Devarya’ failing to do any good to her career, the Chandigarh-born actress is pinning high hopes on her current film ‘Adavi Kaachina Vennela’ in which she is paired opposite Arvind Krishna. “I play a character called Vennela. Director Akki Viswanadha Reddy tried something special with the film. I got a feeling that we’ve shot for an English film,” she said, speaking at the poster launch of the film on Sunday in Hyderabad. Her co-stars and the director accompanied her. Producer Ramesh Prasad who unveiled the poster hoped the film would do well at the box-office.
