Boyapati pips Vinayak to direct Chiru?

Going by the buzz, director Boyapati Srinivas, fresh from the success of ‘Legend’, has pipped colleague VV Vinayak and emerged as the front runner to helm Chiranjeevi’s 150th project.

While there is still absolute secrecy surrounding the project, word on the street is that it will indeed be Boyapati who will take the life of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, considered to be one of the first freedom fighters who had led a revolt against British occupation even before the 1857 Sepoy Rebellion, onto celluloid. Chiru will be playing Narasimha Reddy. Despite several attempts, the director known for his larger than life cinema, remained unavailable for comment.
