Farah Khan wants husband Shirish to cook

Director Farah Khan turns cook for a food show. She is winding up her long awaited film “Happy New year” at rocket's speed. However, she has made some time to showcase her cooking skills on a show.

Farah talks about her passion to cook, food habits of her children and hubby Shirish Kunder

Love cooking: I am on this cooking show as I love cooking. However, owing to my busy schedule as I am busy giving finishing touches to my film “Happy New Year”, I have not been able to cook for almost a year or more. Therefore at this cooking show I decided to steal some time from my busy schedule and to cook my delicious chicken dish.

My son is fussy about food: My son is very fussy about food. He does not like to eat different stuff. But ever since I started taking him out for food, he has started eating even dal chawal, pasta chicken, noodles porridge. My daughters are very simple they eat everything and anything.

Farah’s acting debut in Bela Sehgals’s film titled Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi saw her in a slim and trim figure. Yes! I had to exercise a lot and I did reduce a lot after dieting. However, now as a director I am shooting day in and day out. I have to eat the food that is served on the sets. I do not eat on time, owing to all this I have definitely put on a lot of weight.

On being married to director Shirish Kunder : I know the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. I have done that too. I would serve all delicious dishes that he loved Sheer Khurma, biriyani etc. Now, I have no time to serve him hot cooked meals. It is high time he does it for me.

My latest flick Happy New Year starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and Abhishek Bachchan is all set to release in December. I am now giving finishing touches to the film.
