Prabhas is Sumanth’s favourite hero

Actor Sumanth Ashwin, who is on a roll with multiple hits, says he is a big fan of actor Prabhas. The macho actor’s breakthrough film,’ Varsham’, was produced by Sumanth’s father MS Raju. “Prabhas is my favourite hero. I’ve been spectator to his opening scene in ‘Varsham’, where he lifts a jeep. That day itself I felt a hero should be like him,” he said. He was speaking at the audio launch of his new film ‘Chakkiligintha’ in Hyderabad on Saturday.

Praising the films teaser Prabhas said he has seen Sumanth as a teenager. “I know him since ‘Varsham’ and he has now turned into a hero. I pray for the film’s success,” he said.

Directed by Vema Reddy, the film, a production of Narasimha Chary and Narasimha Reddy, stars Rehana alongside Sumanth. Mickey J Meyer has composed music.
