5.25 crore set for Puli

Tamil actor Vijay, who commands a decent following here, recently finished shooting of his introduction song in ‘Puli’. The song was shot on a huge set, costing the makers Rs 5.25 crore.

Erected at the Talakona Forest near Tirupati, the set took 200 carpenters, 100 molders, 50 welders and a period of 100 days to construct!

Being made on a budget of Rs 118 crore, the film, besides Tamil, will also release in Telugu and Hindi. Sridevi, Sudeep, Shruti Haasan and Hansika are playing key roles in the film.
