Telugu remake of Tamil blockbuster \'Thani Oruvan\' has been making news for a while now. With Ram Charan\'s name doing the rounds, reports even suggest that the director of the movie is keen to cast Superstar Mahesh Babu in the Telugu remake.

Apparently, Mohan Raja who directed the original arranged a private screening for Mahesh Babu. The actor who seemed impressed with the story has however not yet given his nod. Mahesh Babu has always stayed away from remakes and cleared it out many times that he was not keen in remakes.
'Thani Oruvan' starring Jayam Ravi, Nayanthara and Arvind is hogging all the limelight. If Mahesh Babu gives in, it will be for the first time the actor will be seen in a remake and will be breaking his 16-year-old long practice.
