Mani Ratnam's next film to be shot in sync sound

Filmmaker Mani Ratnam will shoot his upcoming revenge drama in sync sound. Sync sound allows filmmakers to record sound during the filming of the movie and is mostly done live on locations.

"Impressed with the sound output in 'Ok Bangaram', Ratnam sir has decided to shoot his next film also in sync sound," said a source from the film's unit. The film stars Karthi, Dulquer Salmaan and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles.

Principal photography of the film will commence from December. Cinematographer Ravi Varman will shoot for this untitled film, which will have music by AR Rahman.
