This 2013 film is based on the true story of Pierre Durand and Seoul Olympics-winning horse Jappeloup. The film follows their journey- through losses to ultimate victory.

In the early 80's Pierre Durand dedicated his whole life to show jumping, abandoning then a career full of promises as a lawyer. With the support of his father, Pierre pins all his hopes on one young horse that no one believes in: Jappeloup. It certainly has many flaws, being too small, too defiant and too unpredictable but it can also spring and has outstanding abilities.

From one competition to another, together, they make significant progress and gains recognition within the horse-jumping circle. After their dramatic failure at Los Angeles Olympic Games, Pierre becomes aware of Jappeloup's weaknesses. With the support of his wife Nadia and the horse'bellboy Raphaelle, Pierre regains confidence in his horse and builds a relationship which leads them to 1988 Seoul Olympic Games.
