Kashibai role makes PeeCee lean towards Marathi production

The Quantico star Priyanka Chopra is all set to test waters in the regional cinema this time. After achieving a legendary status in both Bollywood and Hollywood, the actress is now gearing up for her own Marathi production. Bajirao Mastani saw Piggy Chops’s brilliant performance in the role of Kashibai for which she received rave reviews from the audience.

Now, we hear that the actress is planning to play a cameo in a Marathi movie titled ‘Ventilator’. Being extremely dedicated and a hard working actress, Priyanka Chopra is managing both Hollywood as well as her own projects back home. She is busy shooting for the second season of Quantico which is rolling in the US and simultaneously, preparing for regional cinema.

“Ventilator directed by Rajesh Mapuskar has my name attached to it so I have to be comfortable with everything that’s happening. The crew back home teases me saying that US main baithe baithe I know everything that’s happening in Mumbai. Life is transient and I am a creative person who constantly looks for new outlets. I have been writing a lot and I am producing films, I like to evolve in different directions,” said the actress in an interview with a leading daily.

Priyanka Chopra is setting a new benchmark in the world of cinema. From receiving Padma Shri award to featuring in Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World list, Priyanka Chopra is creating her own niche everywhere. Her versatility can be seen in music, dance and it’s time for her to undertake a new endeavor and hence, production is her new call! She will be seen sharing screen space with Dwayne Johnson and Zac Effron in the upcoming 2017 movie ‘Baywatch’. Bit by bit, PeeCee is conquering the world with her nonstop feats.
