Raju’s Dil saves Ila Naa Jathaga
Top producer Dil Raju has lent his support to ‘Ila Naa Jathaga,’ the trailer of which received unanimous response upon release three months ago.
Top producer Dil Raju has lent his support to ‘Ila Naa Jathaga,’ the trailer of which received unanimous response upon release three months ago. Directed by debutant Ali Mohammad, the indie film is a love story and features new faces Dinesh Naidu, Supraja and Nityasree Reddy in the lead roles.
“Raju fell in love with the film and since his production house is associated with feel-good love stories, he thought he would be the best bet to give it the right platform. However, he asked Ali to reshoot some portions as felt there was some lag. He even released money for it.
Once Ali is done with the shooting part, Raju will decide when to give the film a release,” a source close to the producer says, adding, “He is also keen on changing the title from ‘Ila Naa Jathaga’ to ‘Vellipomake.’”
