Megha Akash is the new babe in T-town and paired opposite hotshot Nithiin in much-awaited ‘Lie’. Born and brought up in Chennai and after completing graduation in visual communications, the youngster found her calling in acting. “I have done two Tamil films including `Oru Pakka Kathai’ which was released and upcoming film `Enai Noki Paayum Thota’, a romantic thriller directed by Gautham Menon and paired opposite talented actor Dhanush.

Now I am making my debut in Telugu with ‘Lie in which I play a character called Chaitra, which is far away from my real self,” she adds. The actress expresses happiness on visiting picturesque locales like Las Vegas and San Fransisco while shooting for the film. “It had been a good mix of pleasure and work for me and we surely had a gala time,” she adds.

Despite spending 75- days with Telugu-speaking crew members, she was unable to grasp Telugu language. “Frankly, I am scared of speaking in Telugu since it is not as easy as it looks. Although, I can understand Telugu a bit . However, my dad is very fluent in Telugu,” she points out. On working with new-age star Nithiin, she adds, “Acting with Nithiin is really great since he is a humble and down-to-earth person. Despite being a star, he was very supportive on the sets. Truly an easy going man,”

Also says the title justifies everything love and enmity. “Versatile actor Arjun is seen in the film but we both do not have scenes together, I am slightly disappointed with that,”. When asked about which industry is comfortable working “Both Telugu and Tamil film industries are similar. My acting workshop has also come in handy,” she says. “I like Trisha and Alia Bhatt and Pawan and Nithin are my other favourite stars’.
