BVS Ravi who impressed everyone with his writing skills turned director with the film Wanted but it failed at the box office. After taking a long gap, the writer is now back with his second directional with Mega Supreme hero Sai Dharam Tej. SDT who is suffering flops is awaiting a success now. Check out the review of the film here.

Jai (Sai Dharam Tej) and Keshav (Prasanna) are childhood friends. Keshav is attracted to violence from the childhood and hence joins hands with the terrorists. Jai gets a job at DRDO.

On the other side, Keshav plans to steal Octopus Missile from DRDO and starts threatening Jai that he will kill his family members if Jai fails to help him. What is Octopus Missile? What did Jai do to save his family members? forms the rest of the story of the film.

Sai Dharam Tej is improvising his skill from film to film. He is surely going to be the next big actor in the film industry. SDT acted within his limits and did well in the emotional scenes. Prasanna Kumar is good as a villain in the film but the makers failed to utilise and elevate him completely.

His performance is good. Mehreen is the glamour asset for the movie. She is at her usual best and impressed with her looks. The other actors like Subba Raju, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Satyam Rajesh, Nagababu and others are good in their limited roles and did their best.

Technical Aspects:
The cinematography by KV Guhan is impressive. The framing is nice. The music scored by Thaman is good and his background score is amazing. The editing is neat and the less runtime is an advantage. The artwork is impressive. The production values of the film are rich.

The film's core point is inspiring. The makers have come up with impressive plot around the point that they wanted to tell. The action sequences are good in the film and the writing is good in parts. The writer in Ravi dominated the director in him. The runtime of the film which is very less is the major advantage for the movie. Still, the film could be pacy and the makers compromised here with respect to some scenes which are the commercial values.

The second half family scenes are very good and the way SDT compares his family to the country is wonderful. There is much simple logic that the makers neglected and it will draw a bad impression on the audiences. In the process of elevating the hero, the makers forgot to elevate the villain equally. On a whole, the film is worth a watch.
