Raashi works on Sunday

Pretty actress Raashi Khanna who is riding high on the success of ‘Tholi Prema’ was forced to work on Sunday. “I am happy as well as sad about working on Sunday,” said the actress, who shared a pic of her with her co-star Nitthin.

“On the sets of my film ‘Srinivasa Kalyanam’ she added. Actually, Sunday is a holiday for film fraternity, but at times directors insist on shooting on a holiday to shoot key scenes and also to manage the dates of multiple actors in the film.

Raashi who is known for her professionalims in the industry, he didn’t mind working on a Sunday and was seen quite happy in the above-mentioned picture. Neverthelsss, Raashi has become the sought-after-actress for performance-oriented roles these days, after doing glam-centric roles in films like ‘Oxygen’ and ‘Touch Chesi Choodu’ which showcased her carved physique, than her acting talent.

“Tholi Prema’ changed her careeer for good since the role of a longing lover girl gave her chance to showcase her hiddent talent and now she is in demand for meaty roles,” says distributor Ramakrishna, who feels that she has an edge over her rivals like Lavanaya Tripathi and Regina Cassandra.

“She has flair for comedy and also good in emoting scenes, but just needs a good director, to tap her talent,” he adds. No doubt, Raashi has three to four plum offers in the pipeline, hope she will cash in on her new-found success. Let’s wait and see.
