Sudheer Babu is a self-made man, says Mahesh Babu

Gracing the pre-release function of ‘Sammohanam’, superstar Mahesh Babu, who released the poster of the film at a grand function held in Hyderabad on Sunday, expressed confidence that the matured love story would turn out to be the biggest blockbusters in Telugu this year.

He said that ‘Dil’ Raju rang him up in the morning and informed him that there were good reports about the film. Mahesh Babu said that Sudheer who came up on his own was a highly talented actor and also a good guy. He said that Indraganti Mohana Krishna’s film ‘Astha Chamma’ was his favourite film and added that he was extending a hearty welcome to Aditi Rao Hydari to the Telugu film industry.

In his speech, hero Sudheer Babu said that he had doubts whether the film would be appreciated by the audience or not but when he came to know that Mahesh Babu would be attending the pre-release function with his new look, he became confident. He said that he gained a lot of experience by working with Indraganti Mohana Krishna and thanked the producer and director for selecting him as the hero.

Aditi Rao Hydari said that she was delighted with her role Sameera in the film and described Sudheer Babu as an amazing actor. She thanked director Indraganti for selecting her for the female lead. Director Indraganti said that way back in the year 2008, a small girl in a train was mouthing dialogues from the film ‘Pokiri’ and he wanted to pick a magical name for the story ‘Astha Chamma’, which he was penning.

When he was thinking of a name, the little girl suggested Mahesh Babu’s name and it did wonders for the film. He thanked Mahesh Babu profusely for allowing him to use his name. Producer Shivalenka Krishna Prasad said the entire crew worked very hard and dished out a beautiful film and added that he felt that it was a next level movie. While thanking Mahesh Babu for gracing the function, he said that the film gave him a lot of satisfaction. The film is slated to be released on June 15.
