Hyderabad: Nowadays, seamlessly gold smuggling has been taking place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport of Shamshabad in Hyderabad. Early on Wednesday, a woman arrived at RGIA from Qatar was detained for allegedly smuggling 3kg gold by the Intelligence officials. Fatima, a Hyderabad based woman was found hiding 3kg gold in her burkha. Nevertheless, the customs officials have seized the same from her and also detained her for interrogation.
Even before this news has become stale, in another incident, 13kg gold was seized from a woman came from Maharashtra at noon on Wednesday. The customs officials held her for interrogation. More details are awaited.
