Man takes advantage of woman in the name of love

Hyderabad: In yet another routine incident, a man cheated a woman in the name of love. He assured her of marrying and owned her in the flesh. Later, he refused to marry her. According to the Neredmet police, a woman who resides near Kripa Complex in Neredmet has been working as a private company employee. She happened to meet CH Praveen (29) a year back, which later turned into love with him.

Many a time Praveen used to take money from her. When she asked him under duress to marry her, Praveen said that his parents were against their marriage. Upset over the situation, the girl attempted suicide a month before. Nevertheless, she was somehow rescued by her parents with the help of doctors. As Praveen has not given his consent for their marriage, with the advice of a lawyer, the girl registered a complaint with the Neredmet police. She has handed over the details of all 8556 SMSs and mails sent by Praveen. A case has been registered by the police and arrested the accused.
