Hyderabad: Early on Wednesday, at APSP Base Camp near Ankalamma temple of Railway Koduru in Kadapa district, there was a misfire of the gun. In this incident, constable Satyanarayana of 9th battalion got sternly hurt. The bullet pierced underneath the chest. The constable has been rushed to Ruya Hospital in Tirupathi. More details in the matter are awaited.
It is very essential to handle the arms and ammunition very carefully. Also, regular maintenance and safety locking of the arms is very necessary. Else, untoward incidents of such nature would happen. There is a need to give adequate training to the concerned of the safety measures as far as handling of weapon is concerned.
