Hyderabad: A 22-year-old woman approached Human Rights Commission on Tuesday over allegations of ‘sexual harassment’ against a headmaster of a school.

In her complaint, she alleged that M Surender Reddy, 38, a headmaster of Ippalapalli school of Kulkacharla Mandal in Rangareddy District frequently harassed her to maintain relationship with him, even though she was married to another man. The woman, who was a former student of Surender, alleged that he sexually exploited her during the 2009, under the pretext of love.

However, she was married in the year 2011. But persistent stalking by Surender affected her familial relationship. Surender also threatened to kill her, if she approached the police station.

Responding to her petition, HRC asked Superintended of Police of Rangareddy District to file a comprehensive report against the headmaster by November 19.
