Couple attempts suicide in Alwal; wife dies

Bowing to the heavy torture from their own son concerning the matter of property, an aged couple allegedly attempted suicide on Friday morning at Janaki Nagar of Alwal in Secunderabad. The duo consumed acid to commit suicide. In this incident while Lakshmi Bhai died, the condition of her spouse is learnt to be very critical.

The police held the accused and have been interrogating. More details in the matter are awaited.
