Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police arrested a gang of four burglars for their involvement in seven cases of house burglary under Alwal Division. Police recovered 43 tolas of gold ornaments, worth Rs 13 lakh from the arrested persons. According to police, the accused Rathan Saaha, 38, a mason, Haridas Baroui, 30, a labour, Rakesh Thakur alias Saadu, 30, an auto driver and Mangal Byadh, 26, a tea vendor hailing from Dubhuliya village, Nadia district of West Bengal.

In 2012, these four persons came to Hyderabad for eking out their livelihood, but their earnings proved to be insufficient to meet their family expenditures. They started house burglaries in 2013, by removing the grills of windows, with the help of screw drivers.
