5-year-old boy falls into sump, dies

Hyderabad: A five-year-old boy died after he fell into a water sump in Turkayamjal area under Vanasthalipuram police limits on Thursday. The deceased Amir was playing outside his home when the incident took place. His parents and family members grew suspicious when he remained missing for almost an hour. They started searching the boy in the neighbourhood and later found his body in the water sump of their rented house, said police who registered a case and took up the investigation.
