Cop Lands in ACB Trap. The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths caught a head constable, Janardhan (HC 1005) attached to the Pahadishareef police station, Cyberabad red-handedly when he was demanding and accepting Rs 4,500 from the complainant Md Aleem here on Monday.
Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths caught a head constable, Janardhan (HC 1005) attached to the Pahadishareef police station, Cyberabad red-handedly when he was demanding and accepting Rs 4,500 from the complainant Md Aleem here on Monday.
According to ACB sleuths, the complainant, an auto-rickshaw driver, contacted the constable for release of his auto (AP 11W 1527) involved in a road accident case. When he approached Janardhan, he demanded Rs 4,500. Vexed with constable’s behaviour, Aleem sought the ACB’s help. The constable was arrested and sent to the court for remand.
