Andhra Pradesh government is all set to seize properties and assets of notorious red sanders wood smuggler Gangi Reddy worth Rs.l 100 core . Andhra Pradesh CID has issued notices anmd the district authorities of Chittoor and Kadapa are procssing the seizure documents of properties at Pullamp[eta.Chennai., Tirupati and also Kadapa , all beloning to the red sander smuggler Gangi Reddy who was recently traced in Malaysia by interpol .
DGP of AP J V Ramudu said that government was making all out efforts to get the extradiction of Gangi Reddy and also seize all of his assets which are worth over Rs.100 crore and comprise of zareed land in Krishna river water front at Undavalli, Apartments and malls at Chennai,l Bungalow at Kadapa and farm plantations at pullampeta .
Gangi Reddy was identified as one of the main accused in the assasination attempt against then CM Chandrababu Naidu and blasted claymore mines near Alipiri-Tirumala ghat road which maimed Chandrababu Naidu and few other top TDP leaders in October 2003.
