Hyderabad: A total of five cases of malpractice have been registered against the students during the intermediate examination held across the Telangana State on Thursday. According to Board of Intermediate Education (BIE), 3,97,445 candidates in general and 28,294 candidates in vocational categories appeared for the exam. As many as 26,734 or 6.27 per cent candidates abstained from taking English Paper – II exam. The BIE had sent observers to Ranga Reddy, Medak and Warangal districts. The examination has been conducted peacefully without any untoward incident, the board said in a press release.
