A man, 22, tried to rape his sister on Tuesday at Hydernagar in KPHB Colony. Police said that at the time of the incident, the accused was under the influence of alcohol. The accused allegedly tried to outrage the modesty of his sister when his mother and wife were away, the cops said. The teenaged began screaming for help. Hearing her screams, the neighbours rushed to the spot and caught hold of the accused. According to the police, the accused has been arrested under relevant section of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and molestation.
