Boy electrocuted

A 14-year-old boy got electrocuted when he came in contact with a live wire near a distribution transformer at Neredmet on Tuesday evening. Venkateshwar Rao, 14, son of Venkat Rao of Ammuguda, was playing cricket on the street with his friends when the ball fell near the transformer. When he went to get the ball, he accidentally came in contact with a live wire and died on the spot.
