ACB issues notice to watchman
Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials on Tuesday issued notices to one Palakuthi Ramulu, a resident of Sarmapalli of Sircilla mandal, in connection with the contentious cash-for-vote scam. Ramulu, who was working as a watchman in Sircilla Textile Park, was asked to appear before the ACB officials at 10.30 am on Wednesday.

Karimnagar: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials on Tuesday issued notices to one Palakuthi Ramulu, a resident of Sarmapalli of Sircilla mandal, in connection with the contentious cash-for-vote scam. Ramulu, who was working as a watchman in Sircilla Textile Park, was asked to appear before the ACB officials at 10.30 am on Wednesday.
Additional Superintendent of Police (ACB) M Malla Reddy issued the notice under section 160 CrPC and asked Ramulu to appear before him at ACB Central Investigation Unit in Hyderabad. It was learnt that a mobile phone number registered on Ramulu’s name was used to interact with each other on the issue of cash-for-vote scam.
