The State Commission for Protection of Child Rights in Hyderabad rescued a 12-year-old girl from her parents. The girl, who is a Class VII student, was being physically and verbally tortured by her parents for the past five years.
According to the girl, her parents regularly drink and torture her. He used to abuse and beaten me up often, the girl said.
She alleged that her mother had tried to kill her by throwing her in front of the bus. A case has been booked against the parents of the girls. Further details are awaited.
