Hyderabad: A couple got killed and their 17-year-old daughter sustained injuries when the car they were travelling rammed into a truck at Shamirpet on Thursday at around 8 am.
Satish Kumar, 47, private employee from SR Nagar in Hyderabad and wife Srilatha, 40, along with their daughter were returning from Karimnagar after celebrating Deepavali.
“A loaded truck was stopped on the main road. Satish unable to control the car rammed into the stationary truck from rear side. The couple died on the spot and their daughter who was in the back seat suffered grievous injuries,” the Shamirpet police said. The injured girl was shifted to a private hospital.
