Hyderabad: A 28-day-old baby was kidnapped by unknown persons in the vicinity of the Secunderabad Railway Station on Tuesday night. According to the police, a woman Rama Devi had migrated to the city from Khammam about five years ago.

After the death of her husband Lakshman, Rama became homeless and took shelter at an open place near the railway station and started working as a maid. About 28-days ago, she delivered a baby boy. On Tuesday night, while she was sleeping, two people approached her and kidnapped the boy.

Basing on Rama Devi’s complaint, the Gopalpuram Police registered a case and collected CCTV footage from nearby traffic junctions and hotels located in the vicinity of the Secunderabad Railway Station. The police suspect the role of two people who work in hotel located near the railway station and hunt is on to nab them.
