5 burnt alive in Karimnagar road accident

In a gory accident, five persons were burnt alive and six others were injured when a car collided with an autorikshaw near Potyala village in Ramagundam mandal of Karimnagar district on Sunday evening.

Cab driver Venkatesh and Amzad Pasha (30), both residents of Bellampalli of Adilabad district, autorikshaw driver Uppuleti Rajender, Mohan and Madhunamma of Potyal village were burnt alive.
The bodies were burned beyond recognition. The injured were shifted to Godavarikhani area hospital. One of the injured was referred to Karimnagar as his condition turned critical. The cause of the fire was suspected to be the petrol tin being carried autorikshaw.
