45 year old held for raping minor girl

An 8-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her middle-aged neighbour, by luring her into his house under Hussaini Alam police station. According to the police, the incident took place about a week ago and the accused was identified as Siraj, 45, a labourer.

He, who was living in the same neighbourhood, kept an eye on girl, while she was going to school.The accused lured the girl and outraged her modesty.
The parents of the victim came to know about this, after she was admitted to a hospital due to illness. After taking the accused into custody, a case was booked under Section 376 (rape) of IPC and Section 4 and 5 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offence (POSCO) Act 2012.
