Inter-caste affair claims two lives
The inter-caste love affair has claimed the lives a man and woman. The deceased, who were identified as Jangili Ganesh (23) and Nannaboina Rama (20) of Kogilvai village in Atmakur mandal in the district, have committed suicide as their parents were against their love as they belong to different castes.

According to the police sources, they consumed pesticide in the early hours of Thursday in the village. The locals found their bodies near agriculture well on the village outskirts and informed the police. The deceased were said to be in love for the past two years. Ganesh, who studied tenth class, was engaged in agriculture while Rama was studying degree second year.
Recently her parents came to know about her love affair with Ganesh and fixed her marriage with another man. Saddened at the development they have taken the extreme step, the police said. Atmakur CI M Ravi Kumar visited the spot and booked a case. After autopsy at MGM Hospital in Warangal, the bodies were handed over to their family members.
