The AP Teacher Eligibility Test, scheduled to be held on February 9, may be deferred again as the AP Non-gazette employees have given a strike call from February 6. If the strike goes on in 13 Seemandhra districts, the exam will certainly be postponed again. But officials on record have expressed confidence that the strike may not affect the exam as it is linked to the employment of lakhs of aspirants.
“We are trying our best to conduct the exam smoothly with the help of teachers and junior lecturers of all colleges, who have not announced their intention to go on strike till now. Let’s see.. we urge the leaders not to disrupt the TET in view of the future of large section of unemployed youth” a top official of School Education said.
