Taxi driver’s son shines in Science Olympiad, Allam Rohit, an eight-year-old student of Class II of Presentation High School, Cherial, Warangal, secured State Rank 19 and got top position in Warangal city in Olympiad Exam 2013-2014.

The competition was organised by Science Olympiad Foundation.

“Rohit is a hardworking boy,” says Sister Beena Thomas of the Presentation High School, an unaided private school run by sisters. Rohit’s father, Allam Narsimhulu, is a taxi driver.

“I want to study hard and become a Collector,” Rohit shares. Around 27,000 schools from 1,360 cities from across India and 16 countries participated in the Science Olympiad exams during 2013-14.

Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) aims to identify, motivate and reward talent and performance – at the International level, State level and also school level. It conducts National Cyber Olympiad (NCO), National Science Olympiad (NSO), International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) and International English Olympiad (IEO).
