Hyderabad: A two-judge Bench of the High Court at Hyderabad on Tuesday took on file a writ plea questioning the government’s decision in permitting private medical colleges to award 15 per cent for an interview while making admissions to the first year of the MBBS course in the State of Telangana. The Bench of Chief Justice Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta and Justice P V Sanjay Kumar were dealing with a writ plea filed by Chandra Teja, an aspiring medical student, complaining that the management of Kamineni Medical College said loophole in the law denied her admission.
