While Bhadrachalam, Mahbubnagar recorded 41 degrees Celsius each, Hanamkonda, Hyderabad, Khammam, Nalgonda had a high of 40 degrees Celsius each. Hakimpet had a high of 39 degrees Celsius

Hyderabad: Adilabad, Medak, Nizamabad and Ramagundam recorded the highest day temperature of 42 degrees Celsius each during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Monday. While Bhadrachalam, Mahbubnagar recorded 41 degrees Celsius each, Hanamkonda, Hyderabad, Khammam, Nalgonda had a high of 40 degrees Celsius each. Hakimpet had a high of 39 degrees Celsius.

The Met department bulletin said the maximum temperatures were above normal by 1.6 to 3 degrees Celsius at many places in Telangana. No large change in the day temperatures during the last 24 hours. Isolated rain occurred over Telangana.
According to the forecast, the day temperatures are likely to be above normal by two to three degrees Celsius. They are likely to be above 40 degrees Celsius at a few places in the State for the next five days.

The bulletin said the trough from the Lakshadweep area to Telangana with embedded upper air cyclonic circulations over the State now runs to south Tamil Nadu across north interior Karnataka and extends up to 0.9 km at the mean sea level. Dry weather is likely to prevail in the State from April 11 to 14. No large change during the subsequent three days is the weather outlook.
