Dr PM Bhargava, scientist and thinker and Chandana Chakrabarti, writer and activist, recently released a book ‘An Agenda for the Nation’. A talk on the book would be held by the authors on March 27 at Saptaparni, Road 8, Banjara Hills.

This visionary document presents India’s national assets, its liabilities and its inter-relationships to identify those at the top of the hierarchy, the quality of life and lifestyles it wishes to achieve in various sectors (urban, rural or tribal). The authors then delineate important actionable points and the steps that Indian government(s) ought to take in order to use the country’s assets to overcome problems so that the nation could reach the goals of development.

“This agenda would be of tremendous help to all political parties to plan their manifesto and would help citizens to understand the issues important to them individually and to India’s future. On the eve of 2014 elections, the thoughts in the book would be essential discussion,” mentioned the authors.
