Nagara Sankeerthana was organised on Saturday as part of the weeklong Thyagaraja Aradhanotsav being organised by Sangeeta Sanmandali. The idols of saint composer Sri Thyagaraja Swamy, Lord Rama and Lord Anjaneya were taken in a procession marking Nagara Sankeerthana. The procession which began at Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Government Music and Dance College, went up to Satyanarayanapuram before returned to the venue. Musicians Modumudi Sudhakar, Popuri Gowrinath, Parupalli Subbaraya Phalgun, Sashidhar, Anjana and others took part in Nagara Sankeerthana held on the sixth day of Thyagaraja Aradhanotsav. Thyagaraja Keerthanas were rendered by the musicians during the procession, accompanied by traditional Nadaswaram.

After Nagara Sankeerthana, vocal concerts and veena recitals were held in the morning session of the festival. Upcoming vocalists Malladi Aravind Karthik, M Sivananda Yasasvi, Oruganti Vanaja, K Lakshmi Padmasree and UV Mohana Vamsi presented impressive concerts. Vocal duos BVK Vaishnavi and Vagdevi of Nellore and Hari Manasa and Madhuri of Vijayawada regaled the audience with their concerts. P Kanakadurga and MD Balatripura Sundari rendered enchanting veena recitals.
