Crash course for JEE aspirants from tomorrow

Andhra Pradesh Centre for Architecture and Design (APCAD) director NSRK Prasad has advised students to pursue architecture courses as there is a great demand for professional architects in the country. According to Council of Architecture (COA), only 50,000 architects are available now against the requirement of five lakh professionals for the construction of a mega capital city for Andhra Pradesh.

Prasad on Tuesday said that a special crash course for aspirants of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) would be conducted at MICE Academy at Moghalrajapuram from March 26 to April 3. He urged students to appear for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) to realise their dream of becoming professional architects.

Speaking about APCAD, he said, “It has been achieving good results for the past three years. It is churning out more than 100 professional architects every year. APCAD with experienced faculty and good infrastructure, lays greater emphasis on quality standards. It has online examination facility.

Study material prepared by the highly experienced faculty will be provided to students. It will conduct online mock tests regularly and hold contact classes for students to produce better results. It is also offering guidance to local students to enable them appear for NATA.”APCAD co-directors K Venkat and A Sunil Kumar and chartered engineer V Radhakrishna were also present.
