Kula Vivaksha Porata Samithi (KVPS) district president Parisapogu Rajesh on Friday said the 6K Marathon Run would be held on the eve of Easter.
Rev G Dyvasirvadam, Moderator of CSI Diocese, and Rev R Govind Joji, Bishop and Apostolic Administrator, will flag off the run at Bishop Azariah Institutions at 5:30 am. It will end at the Gymkhana Grounds I nGandhinagar.
Members of over 135 churches will participate in the run.Rajesh, along with Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) district president M Sridhar Madiga, VMC co-opted member Md Fathullah and other leaders released a poster of ‘Run for Jesus' on the occasion of Good Friday.
