Nepal is still reeling under the devastating earthquake where over 6,000 people have lost their lives and the country is still limping towards normalcy. While many have been showering aid and relief material from across the world, three Hyderabadi shutterbugs have decided to used their skills to raise funds for the affected, school children in particular.

An exhibition called ‘Back to School’ was organised by photographers Rajesh Pamnani, Mallika Rajkumar, Saurabh Chatterjee and Ambareesh Pittie at Our Sacred Space on Sunday. The proceeds from the show will be forwarded by Rotary Club to restore infrastructure in Nepal schools.

The pictures on sale depicts bustling roads, mountains and waterfalls- the pride of Nepal, architecture reminding people how beautiful the world is. “These pictures have fetched us Rs 50,000 until now and the next exhibition will be staged at Goethe Zentrum in Jubilee Hills on May 9 and 10. The earthquake has made us discover that we have two hands, one for helping yourself and one for helping others,” said Rajesh Pamnani.
