Abid Ali Levels, Sports Coaching Foundation (Greens) and SCF (Blues) won the Under-12, 14 and 16 titles respectively in the 16th Boston Cup-2015 day/night cricket tournament, under the auspices of Kala Pather-based Boston Mission High School at the Sports Coaching Foundation (SCF) grounds in Masab Tank late Sunday evening.

Abid Ali Levels, Sports Coaching Foundation (Greens) and SCF (Blues) won the Under-12, 14 and 16 titles respectively in the 16th Boston Cup-2015 day/night cricket tournament, under the auspices of Kala Pather-based Boston Mission High School at the Sports Coaching Foundation (SCF) grounds in Masab Tank late Sunday evening.


The runners-up in the respective age-group categories were Supercats CA, Sujatha School, Moinabad and Supercats CA. After giving away the prizes, both to the team and individual winners, at an impressive ceremony, P N Rao, Principal Commissioner of Customs & Central Excise, lauded Boston Mission High School and the Foundation for their constant efforts to promote the sport at the grassroots’ level and that too in the Under-16 category.

He hoped that the 16th edition would pave the way for more such events. Former Ranji players, Momin Patel and K Sai Baba said the school’s Correspondent, Mohd Shaker Ahmed was doing a wonderful job as the tournament attracted the cream of talent from over 100 educational institutions, including many based in the Old City.


Imran Ahmed retraced the 16-year journey of Boston Cup/ Shaker Ahmad assured to present bigger and better editions in the future. He urged other institution to come forward to promote in the Old City where the talented players were deprived of too many opportunities. Firdous Shareef presented vote of thanks and Naweed Shaikh anchored the show.
