The Metal Armageddon at ‘Houz Of Blues’ was an event not worth missing. The audience engaged in mosh pits and head banging and swayed to the tunes of four bands--Neck breakers Society, Fear Vortex, Pandora’s Box and Against Evil.

Against Evil was a band from Visakhapatnam but the other three bands who performed were from Hyderabad. Each band had a unique sound which was refreshing. Neck Breakers Society had good old school clash metal-heavy metal sound to which the crowd was moshing. They played one original song which was well received by the crowd.

They also played some covers which included a song called ‘Clone’ by ‘Gojira’. Fear Vortex played three original songs (Time Warped, Fade, The other side) and two popular covers of which ‘Fatal Tragedy’ by ‘Dream Theatre’ moved the crowd.

Followed by Fear Vortex was Pandora Box which started with an instrumental version Ananasthetise who broke into trippy epic rythms and played an extended two part original towards the end. The last band to perform was ‘Against evil’ which played all their original songs. The song ‘Bullet Proof’ found many takers.

They also played some covers like Pink Purple, Move the head and Scorpians. The venue was jam packed and considering the size of the crowd, a good sound would have been a challenge. But sound engineer Varun added life to the show.
