Fashion expo for upcoming festive season
A three day exhibition, Fashion Fiesta (10 am to 9 pm), began at Sri Sesha Sai Kalyana Vedia on Friday. Fashion designers from Delhi, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Haryana, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Guntur displayed their latest creations. Fashion designers from Delhi, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Haryana, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Guntur displayed their latest creations. Artificial gold and stone jewellery, accessories like watches, handbags, sandals, digital embossed art and wood crafted interior décor items were also showcased in about 50 stalls set up at the expo.
Speaking about the expo, organiser Fousia Tarannum said, ``We have showcased the best of collections of several designers, which are elegant, subtle and yet chic. A variety of fabrics such as silk, chiffon, georgette, raw silk, crepe and net material are used to create designer saris and blouses and western tunics. People can visit the expo from 10 am to 9 pm to buy new dresses for festivities in the upcoming auspicious Sravana Masam.’’
